I'm turning into my mother.....
I don't know what it is- maybe I'm turning into my mother. But for whatever reason, I can't start my day without a checklist. I don't know, maybe it just helps me clear the sleepy fog that invades my brain every morning. It's like my coffee. Anyway, whats taking over my to do lists at the moment is the Dr. Seuss themed baby shower I'm throwing for my sister in law Candace in June. It's going to be soooo cute. I can't wait to post some pictures on here. Anyway, not too much is new. My hubby has been in between job sites for about two weeks now. I have to admit, it is nice having him home. We get to do all the fun things we normally don't, like going to Disneyland on a very uncrowded Wednesday, hiking to the waterfall on mt baldy, and dropping the kids off at grammy's so we can go bowling with some friends and get some much needed adult only time. So it's been fun! Anyway, here's an update on the kiddos:

At two years nine months, you have a very extensive vocabulary, you are potty trained (you just learned to pee standing up and you don't want me in the bathroom anymore when you do it) and you are such a boy. You run around pretending to fly with your arms stretched out, stopping every so often to shoot blasts out of your hands like iron man or shooting lasers from your wrists like buzz lightyear. Such a big boy!

You are five months old! I can't believe how fast this is all going. It seemed to last so much longer with your brother, this babyhood thing. You are smiley all the time, such an easy baby. You are no longer nursing, which is a little bittersweet for mommy. You are almost crawling too! Scootching across the floor and even rocking back and forth on your hands and knees sometimes. I'm not ready for you to be so big!
I'm also wanting to work on a project for the kitchen. I'll post on the project when its finished!
